JobMotel API

Overview

JobMotel currently offers access to the data it collects about each job through an api.

Jobs

A list of all jobs, ordered by the most recent first.

URL: http://<type>.jobmotel.com/jobs.<format>

Available parameters:

• country - Use a country code to limit jobs for a specific country (See country documentation).
• per_page - The amount of jobs to display per page (default is 20, maximum is 100).
• page - The page number to display.

Formats:

• XML
• JSON
• RSS

Examples:

• http://ruby.jobmotel.com/jobs.xml- Displays the first 20 ruby jobs in XML.
• http://design.jobmotel.com/jobs.rss- Displays the first 20 design jobs as an RSS feed.
• http://php.jobmotel.com/jobs.json?per_page=50 - Display the first 50 php jobs in JSON.
• http://ruby.jobmotel.com/jobs.xml?country=gb- Displays the first 20 ruby jobs in the United Kingdom in XML.
• http://ruby.jobmotel.com/jobs.json?country=us&per_page=40&apge=2- Displays the 2nd page of 40 ruby jobs in the United States in JSON.

Countries

A list method is currently available that displays the country name and code for all countries that JobMotel has found jobs for.
